I am a fourth year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, advised by Dr. Wesley K. G. Assunção. My research sits at the intersection of Large Language Models, Software Engineering, HCI, and AI Agents — I’m broadly interested in how we build and evaluate systems where AI and software engineering practice meet (AI4SE) and where AI helps improve AI itself (AI4AI).

Before NC State, I earned my M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Florida and my B.E. in Software Engineering at Xidian University. I’ve also worked as a software engineer at PAX Technology and IBM, and most recently as a Core-ML Ph.D. SWE Intern at Google.

Research

My current work focuses on evaluating and understanding the failure modes of large language models applied to software engineering tasks — including cross-language code functional equivalence, automated test code review, and agentic systems for ML infrastructure. I also have prior work on hardware-software co-design for differential privacy.
